Money ($) is Ultimate Driving's currency which can be found in every UD game except the original map (UD I Classic). Money is also officially known as credits in game.

The money system has not changed since the game's initial release; driving a vehicle earns players a certain amount of money per mile (1.6 km) in-game. As of the racing update, the money system is now complemented by the XP system, which allows players to unlock vehicles on some teams after reaching a certain rank (determined by XP points earned by the player).

Starting Out

Every new user, (a user who has never joined Ultimate Driving before) gets $10,000 to start with. This can be used for vehicles and gas. Money can also be used to pay for customization upgrades such as boost; also it is used to pay off fines and bounty. In job teams, some tasks will earn you revenue in addition to driving.

There are starting vehicles such as the GMC Vandura and Syclone that you can buy with the starting money, or you can save it by sticking with the two free cars (Ford Crown Victoria and Pontiac G8), and if you join during a special free car giveaway, such as the Rebranding Update Weekend, you can purchase a limited edition free vehicle. Check THIS page to see how to play!

In addition, using some codes can also give you free money, allowing you to buy a more expensive vehicle right off the dot.

Statistics

Money is shown in the top bottom leaderboard, seen in many Roblox games. Money automatically saves as you drive, when you travel between games, to earning money, and losing money. People with the highest amount of money are shown at the top of the leaderboard. A top player leaderboard can also be found at the citizen spawns throughout Ultimate Driving, which also allows you to compare your statistics.

Your statistics will show you how much money you have, total distance driven and bounty.

Donations

Money can be donated to other players. The amount used to be capped at the sending user's total balance but due to abuse of the donation system, restrictions are now in effect.

The UDU, "Donation", icon.

Here are all of the limits/requirements:

The UDU 'Donation' panel.

  • You cannot donate more than 35% of your balance.
  • You cannot donate less than $5.
  • Your balance after donating can't be less than $10,000.
  • You cannot donate more than $1,000 at a time. (Likely a temporary measure.)
  • There is a 15 second cooldown, to prevent accidental repeat donations.

Warning: Asking, bribing, or begging for donations is against UDU official rules and can result in a ban or kick. Also, do not donate if in doubt!

Trivia

  • As of recent, there is a $1,000 max donation limit due to exploiters managing to use the donation system to glitch their cash to ludicrously high levels, and considering that the user of the community does not want people to buy highly expensive cars as if they're cheating. If you are aware of how this glitch works, do not perform it yourself as the UDU Staff will not hesitate to ban you should you decide to do it.
  • It has become common for people seeing players with millions of in-game cash, often with high bounty levels as well. As a result, the number of supercars and sports cars in-game have grown exponentially.
