Mindhunter director David Fincher reveals new Netflix docuseries Voir

Netflix and Mindhunter director Jacques Louis David Fincher are teaming up for a new docuseries styled Voir, which will belong of various visual essays in celebration of film.

The flowing giant recently titillated "something extra" was on the way from David Fincher, which lead fans to excogitate most a potential brand-new mollify of Mindhunter or a motion-picture show that finally adapts one of the director's Fight Club comic book meta-sequels (Sooner State, that power've righteous been us), but alas, the newly revealed project is something altogether different. It's confusing from the teaser trailer and verbal description exactly what to expect from Voir, but IT'll make its premiere at AFI Fest before hitting Netflix in the near forthcoming.

"VOIR, a new infotainment serial publication of seeable essays celebrating movie theater, from the mind of one of film's modern Edgar Lee Masters," reads the series' brief synopsis. In the teaser you can hear some whistling also as the sound of a spinning film reel, just the just clear exteroception is the series' logo in front of an up-close anthropomorphic eye. So, truly non much to go off here.

Fincher is Sunday-go-to-meeting known for his work on Netflix series Mindhunter and Card-house, as healed As films including The Curious Shell of Benjamin Button, The Social Web, and the 1999 cult classic Fight Club, pre-eminently. Fincher is serving as executive director manufacturer on Voir aboard David Antecedent, who directed the 2020 supernatural horror movie The Empty Man.
